For 15 years, I adopted the traditional approach to teaching golf, as I had been taught it : the same method applied to all. But this approach even then seemed to me to be a bit too global, since, in my view, it failed to address the specific mental and physical attributes of each golfer. It was European Tour players such as Michel Tapia and Olivier Edmond who introduced me to these innovative and efficient teaching methods. I discovered golf at the age of three thanks to my father whose passion for golf led him to take it up as a job. Golf soon "took me over" and I became an aficionado of the "white ball".

 



In 1988, I obtained my first handicap of 36 and as of then things moved forward very rapidly. In 1993, I became French "Benjamin" Champion and in 1995 at the age of only 15 I was selected for the French Boys team (age limit 18).  Between 1995 and 1998, I was selected eight times for France and played in various tournaments. I played off scratch at the age of 16.
